The Saturn Revue
International cabaret show from another world
Welcome to a world where the past meets the future in an electrifying spectacle. The Saturn Revue is a lavish cabaret show that will transport you to another world through vintage burlesque, showgirls, acrobatics, slapstick comedy, a live orchestra and singing.
The whole evening takes place in the iconic circular space of the Nová Spirála Theatre at Prague’s Výstaviště and the experience begins the moment you enter – live music, drinks, and an atmosphere reminiscent of a jazz club from another galaxy.
On stage, you can look forward to 26 dancers, the magnificent Cotatcha Orchestra big band, the dazzling beautiful Jasmína Houf, singers Sonny Vargas, Kaia Brown and Anika Caitlyn Gibson, stars of Czech and foreign vintage burlesque such as Miss Cool Cat, Colette Collerette, Betsy Rose, Russell Bruner, and acrobatics, including the captivating circus performer Michiel Tange van Leeuwen. Each act is part of a cosmic love story.
After the show, the fun continues – performances among the audience, a bar and relaxed interaction with the artists create an atmosphere that you’ll remember for a long time. The Saturn Revue is not just a show. It’s a journey to another galaxy.
The evening is hosted by Jan Cina, alternating with Kryštof Krhovják. The costumes were created by the renowned fashion designer Zuzana Kubíčková, the set was made by the talented stage designer Marek Cpin, recipient of the Stage Design of the Year award, the direction is by Tomáš Procházka, winner of the prestigious Tatra Banka Foundation Award in the Young Creator category, and the choreography is by Monina Nevrlá, a professional dancer and the main choreographer of Prague Burlesque.
The Saturn Revue is a co-production of Nová Spirála and Deep Side Production, which is behind the success of the Prague Burlesque Show and the exhibitions of H. R. Giger.
